| | | | Larry Todd has been the Interim Police Chief since September 2009. He has over 39 years of law enforcement experience with seven California police departments. He was the Chief of Police/Director of Emergency Services for the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department, Captain with the Pleasanton Police Department, and began his career in West Covina where he rose through the ranks to Lieutenant. Since retiring in 2002, Chief Todd has served as Interim Police Chief for the Cities of Hollister, Novato, and Clearlake.
Chief Todd was the California Police Chiefs Association’s 1999 recipient of the prestigious Joe Molloy Memorial Award for his outstanding leadership, professionalism, and commitment to the mission of the Association. This award is bestowed upon only one of California’s 350 municipal police chiefs annually.
