Public Education

Welcome to the Fairfield Fire Department's public education home page. We have established an active public education component to enhance our fire service activities. We teach classroom educational programs, lecture on home and work safety and earthquake preparedness. We conduct fire station tours and engine company demonstrations along with fire extinguisher demonstrations. We participate in activities to inform and enhance the quality and life of our seniors. We partnered with the City of Fairfield to teach CPR to our citizens. The Kids' Safety House teaches an array of safety messages from stranger-danger and personal safety to fire safety techniques. We also have an established Junior Fire Setter program. We continue to establish new and interactive programs to further promote fire and life safety within our community.
